A few minutes later, a man had appeared with a Chimecho. From the sounds of it, he didn't realize that she was a Ranger, but then again, with her outfit, no one would ever guess it right away, unless they actually knew her. "Angelica Salt - Ranger. I was sent out here to deal with a snake Pokemon. You must be my partner, I presume?" She had asked, smiling lightly with the goggles on her face, protecting her from the sands that would blow around her face.

Cobalt, her Lucario watched the man making sure he wasn't a threat. "Cobalt, Relax. If this guy was gonna harm us, I think he would've done it already," Angelica said calmly to the male Lucario. The Lucario nodded to Angelica and then began to search around once more for potential threats. "Apparently, this Snake Pokemon was reported to be somewhere in this area. No one has been seriously hurt by it, yet. However I was called out her to make sure it stays that way. I suppose you got the same call as well," She had asked the man, her question being rhetorical.

"At any rate, lets see if we can find it. Cobalt has been searching, but has come up dry. Maybe with you and your Chimecho here, we can find it a lot faster," Angelica had said with a smile.

"Well, lets hop to it and find that-" Angelica had stopped mid sentence when she realized that a big shadow had been cast over her and Matthew. Lucario had stood their, eyeing the Steelix, while also being ready to fight the Steel Type if needed. Normally, girls would be afraid of Pokemon like Steelix, however Angelica showed no fear in her eyes. There were even some grown men who were afraid of them due to their massive size as well as there incredible power. Hopefully, her male partner wasn't afraid of it either.

"Well, looks like it had found us instead!" Angelica had said nonchalantly, as if it were no big deal. From the looks of it, the Steelix was about to let out a roar, but just a second later, Angelica's Lucario had used ExtremeSpeed to jump up close to the Steelix's head, then striking it with a Power-Up Punch, knocking down hard into the sand behind it.

Angelica let out a sigh, shaking her head. "Cobalt, you didn't have to attack it. But, now it can't be helped. I hope you're up for a battle," Angelica said to Matthew with a smile. Meanwhile, The Lucario stood on the defensive, waiting for the Steelix to make it's move.

Angelica had hoped to actually settle things with the Steelix peacefully. She wasn't a pacifist of anything of that sort, however she didn't want the Steelix to be harmed due to the fact that there hasn't been actual reports of people getting injured. She believes that people were just scared because of how big they are. Especially if you randomly happen to run into it, or it running into you. Steelix and Onix both are powerful enough to dig undergound, which makes them honestly even more scary if they decide come back to surface in front of or behind you. Angelica was not afraid, though. She actually liked steel type Pokemon, and Steelix was no exception to that.

With Cobalt giving the first attack though, even though it was right of him to protect his own trainer, the fighting that point, she felt, that it was out of her control at this point. Steelix and Onix can become very aggressive when attacked. The Steelix had gotten back up, bringing it's Iron Tail down hard to the ground, which in turn created an Earthquake. However Cobalt had once again proved how fast he was by using Extremespeed, to not only get Angelica out of the way, as well as Matthew and Jules. however the Lucario did not go too. He couldn't with the three of them.

The Lucario had turned, beginning to create and fire an Aura Sphere at the Steelix. The ball of energy had seemed to quickly hone in on where the Steelix was, and had created a blast as it struck him hard in the face. However the Steelix was not done putting up a fight. It was outraged with how painful the Lucario's attacks were. It had began to attack with Dragon Breath however, Lucario would dodge and repeat, while edging closer and closer to jump up and attack with another Power-Up Punch, sort of uppercutting the steel type Pokemon, to send it slamming to the ground again.

The Steelix roared as it had then proceeded to swing it's metalic-like tail which had cause a Sand Tomb to be created. Angelic had quickly handed a pair of the same type of goggles to Matthew, knowing that he would need it to protect his eyes from the sand. "Cobalt, keep the Steelix at a distance. Make sure, he does not get closer, push him back like you have been doing," Angelica had said calmly. She knew that her Lucario would be able to handle himself, however Angelica was thinking of not only the battle her and Matthew's own safety as well. Cobalt had taken some damage from the billowing snow that was hurled at him, however he was durable than he looked. The Lucario silently nodded at his trainer's words, still focusing on the Steelix at the same time to keep his guard up.
